Court to Remain Closed from Today
Port Blair, July 28: A test was conducted upon one of the staff of the District & Sessions Judge, presently attached to the Court & Office of the Judicial Magistrate, First Class, 2nd Court, Port Blair who has been tested COVID-19 positive. In lieu of the situation arisen and considering the safety measure, the entire court and offices at Port Blair shall remain closed from 28th July 2020 to 31st July 2020 or until further order, whichever is earlier.
The Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Port Blair will only function according to roster duty and as per his own arrangement for urgent matters relating to production / remand of accused persons and dispose off urgent applications, if any, stated the District and Sessions Judge in an order issued today.
