Port Blair, Aug 21: Bharatiya Janata Party led by its State President Shri Ajoy Baiargi today requested the Deputy Commissioner (South Andaman), Andaman & Nicobar Administration to allow devotees to visit temple along with extended visiting time on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on 22^nd August 2020, as the mentioned date happened to be Saturday, which under present conditions is a day of total lockdown. He further states that The Temple Management will be responsible for following/adherence to all social distancing norms and protective measures of COVID19.
