Port Blair, Sept. 13: The Indian Red Cross Society, A & N Branch distributed washable cotton cloth masks for corona warriors attached to the Directorate of Health Services and G.B Pant Hospital, Port Blair through Deputy Director (Malaria), CMO (Store) and Matron, G.B Pant hospital, Port Blair.

All together 800 cotton cloth masks were handed over to District Malaria officer, CMO (Store) and Matron in the presence of Dr. Amitabha Dey, Dr. Navin Govind, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. P. Lal and Smti.Vijaya Saigal, Matron at Directorate of Health Services and G.B. Pant Hospital on 12th September 2020 for further distribution to all corona warriors. The masks were distributed by Dr. R. Thulasi Dasan, Hon. General Secretary and other supporting staff of IRCS, A&N Branch, Port Blair.

It is recommended to wash cloth masks after every use. When removing, be careful not to touch your eyes, nose and mouth. Wash hands immediately after removing the mask. In addition proper hygiene practices and physical distancing are still the best methods of keeping yourself safe.
