Port Blair, Sept. 14: The Chairperson, Port Blair Municipal Council, Shri. N.K. Udhaya Kumartoday inaugurated the newly renovated Community Hall at Dairy Farm Ward No-14 in the presence of Smti. Anjali Sehrawat, IAS Secretary, PBMC and Shri. B. Eswar Rao Ward Councillor Ward No-14. The newly renovated Community hall is having multi facilities such as spacious banquet hall, dining room, kitchen, rain water harvesting system with sound aesthetic view. 

At the outset the Ward Councillor Shri. B. Eswar Rao welcomed all the dignitaries. Addressing the gathering, the Civic Chief stated that despite of all odds the Council is striving hard to provide all basic amenities to the city dwellers. He requested the local residents to maintain the Community Hall.

The Council at present has taken up the task of renovating / redesigning of Community Halls and the works of the same are emerging fast. Shri.B.Eswar Rao Councillor while addressing the gathering thanked the Secretary, PBMC and officials for their valuable suggestions and support and for completing the work of renovation within the stipulated time frame.

In the premises of the newly renovated community hall an e-toilet and carom board playing room was also inaugurated. Councillors of various Wards and officials / officers of the Council were also present during the occasion.
