Port Blair, Sept. 17: The State President, Bharatiya Janata Party, A&N Islands, Shri Ajoy Bairagi has wished the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi a very Happy 70th Birthday. To celebrate the Birthday of the Prime Minister Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman & Nicobar Islands have been celebrating Seva Saptah (Service Week) from 14th of September 2020 to 20th of September 2020.
During the Seva Saptah several activities are being conducted by the party right from Diglipur to Campbell Bay. On the occasion of the Birthday of Shri Narendra Modi, Bairagi led the party workers to participate in a tree plantation drive at Vivekananda Kendriya Vidyalaya, Port Blair. After the tree plantation drive, a cake cutting ceremony was organised at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya.
During the Seva Saptah the BJP Karyakartas donated 30 units of blood to the blood bank at G.B Pant Hospital, Port Blair. Under the leadership of Shri. Anshuman Roy, Vice President, Yuva Morcha, BJP, A & N Islands, the karyakartas of BJP are donating more units of blood to the G.B Pant Hospital blood bank for use in case of need in the hospital.
Several activities like tree plantation, fruit distribution etc. have been conducted by the party in different districts of BJP. Fruits were also distributed at G.B Pant Hospital to patients in Port Blair District of BJP. Bairagi during his tour to N & M Andaman also distributed masks and Sanitizers in Diglipur District, Mayabunder District and Rangat Districts of BJP. Safai Abhiyan has also been conducted to clean various places in Diglipur District, Rangat District, Mayabunder District, South Andaman District and Port Blair District.
Bairagi has also congratulated the Shri. Prakash Adhikari, State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party and the In-Charge of Seva Saptah in Andaman & Nicobar Islands for conducting all the activities of Seva Saptah in an organised and well planned manner.
