Port Blair, Dec. 16: NCRB organised two-day conference on good practices in CCTNS& ICJS on 15th& 16th December 2020 through e-platform. The conference was inaugurated by Hon’ble MoS(Home) Shri. G.Kishan Reddy. The conference served as a platform for sharing of good practices by various States/UTbeing used in implementation of CCTNS/ICJS. Shri. Ravi Kumar Singh, IPS, SP(CID) presented the good practices adopted by Andaman and Nicobar Police in implementation of CCTNS in Andaman and Nicobar Islands ie : Network connectivity in all police stations  and Offline report generating app.

Further, in the category of award to individual officers who have made a significant contribution in the implementation of CCTNS and ICJS the hard work and efforts made by ASI/RO 119 Naresh Baroi for the implementation of CCTNS and ICJS were recognised. He was awarded in category ‘C’ states/UTs having less than 50 Police stations.

ASI Naresh Baroi is a computer graduate with degree in Bachelor of computer Application(BCA) and holds diploma in information & Technology(IT) from BRAIT. He is posted in CCTNS cell since December 2017. During his tenure at CCTNS cell, he has taken lots of initiatives such as development of offline report generating App using core Application software (CAS) database. He is instrumental in sorting out glitches in CAS. He has also customised CAS according to the need of Andaman and Nicobar Police. With the continuous dedicated efforts of CCTNS team, the UT of Andaman & Nicobar has secured 91.5% as the latest release of Pragati Report.

This milestone is achieved under the able guidance, command and supervision of Shri. Madhup K. Tewari, IPS ADGP(L&O), Nodal Officer CCTNS and Shri, Dependra Pathak, IPS, DGP, Andaman & Nicobar Police. All the senior officers of Andaman and Nicobar Police congratulates ASI Naresh Baroi for the award conferred on him.
