Port Blair, Feb 23: The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has envisaged the novel concept of reaching  HSD to the door steps of customers and in line with the same, M/s. Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) through its Dealer, M/s. Jadwet Trading Company on 22-02-2021 launched the facility at Port Blair to meet the demand of HSD from its customers, who are using stationary equipment like generator sets, earth moving equipment, heavy machineries used in construction sites, mobile towers, hotels and complexes etc.

The Mobile Dispenser fabricated on Mahindra chassis, built at a cost of Rs. 30 lakhs and has a capacity of 6,000 Ltrs., with a calibrated dispensing unit and possess all the statutory certificates/licenses from the Explosive Department, Legal Metrology etc.

The Mobile Dispenser was flagged by Shri Pritish Bharat, Executive Director, West Bengal State Office at 6.30 PM today from the Port Blair Haddo Terminal in the presence of Shri Atul Gupta, Chief General Manager – Operations, Shri Alok Kumar Panda, Chief General Manager – Engineering, Shri Himanshu Ranjan, Chief General manager – IB, Shri Devraj Dutta, Dy. General Manager – RS, Kolkata Divisional Office, Shri Subhash Rakshit, Chief Terminal Manager, Shri Mohamed Hashim Jadwet, Managing Partner of M/s. Jadwet Trading Company, Dealer of M/s. Indian Oil Corporation Limited and other retail outlet dealers of Port Blair and officers of IOCL.
