Port Blair, April 29: Humane Touch and Nai Manzil NGO in Assosiation with District Administration & PHC Wimberly Gunj Organised COVID-19 Vaccination Drive Camp at Nayapuram Village

Humane Touch and Nai Manzil NGO in association with District Administration & PHC wimberly Gunj organized COVID-19 Vaccination Drive at Crescent Hostel Nayapuram Village on 28th April 2021 at 3:30pm with the aim to burst the myths surrounding COVID-19 vaccine and to promote Vaccination amongst the age group of 45 and above.

The Vaccination drive was a great relief for the villagers .Althogether 126 eligible citizens were Vaccinated during the Drive. Dr Ankita Banerjee ,MO ,PHC Wimberly Gunj along with her staff were creating awareness to beneficiaries to follow the COVID-19 guidelines like Wearing Mask ,Social distancing and to stay at home.

Nai Manzil  thanked the efforts of District Administration,Doctors and staffs of PHC wimberly gunj for organizing such an Vaccination Drive and  also requested Administration to organize such drives frequently for making the Islands Covid  free.

The organisers also arranged Iftar for the beneficiaries and the staffs during the vaccination.
