Port Blair, June 1: The Andaman Hockey team who is participating in the 3rd Hockey India Senior Men’s National Championship has surprised the islanders by defeating many strong contenders. The latest being Andaman Team winning in the league round along with Chandigarh Olympic Association.
It is surprising that there is no news about the team or even a word of appreciation from the Andaman Administration for the team which in spite of lack of infrastructure in the islands have proved themselves to be champions.
