Port Blair, June 20: The Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI) will be celebrating 35th foundation day at 10.30 am on 23rd June, 2013 at its CARI premises, Garacharma, Port Blair.
Dr. N.K. Krishna Kumar, Deputy Director General (Hort.), ICAR, New Delhi will be the Chief Guest & address the gathering. Dr. H.K. Pradhan, Former Director, High Security Animal Disease Lab (ICAR), Bhopal will be the guest of honour & deliver the foundation day lecture while Dr. S. Dam Roy, Director, CARI will preside over the function.
The day long programme will have release of publications, distribution of awards to scientists and staff for their meritorious contribution in the field of research, development and extension activities, felicitation to the retired personnel and those who have earlier served in the Institute and contributed towards research activities and Institute building.
