Port Blair, June 27: A Multi Speciality Medical Camp was organized at PHC Long Island on 25th & 26th June 2013 by Specialists from G.B. Pant Hospital, Port Blair. Dr. Shiv Shankar Singh, Sr. Medical Specialist, Dr. Devkinandan, Sr. Paediatrician, Dr. Sumitra Bachani, Gynaecologist and Dr. Sanjeev Jaychand, Dental Surgeon has provided services to the needy patients of Long Island.
The Specialist team were taken to Long Island by MV Shompen, the Ship earmarked as Medical Ship. During their visit the team rendered services to 64 Medical, 20 Gynaecological, 12 Paediatric and 8 Dental Cases. Ultra-Sonography services were also provided by using portable Ultra-sonography Machine by the Gynaecologist.
