Port Blair, July 17: The Mahatma Gandhi International School conducted vaccination programme for the benefit of the students and its staff on the 17th July 2013. A team from Shantha Biotecnics in Tandem with the Directorate of Health Services conducted the immunization programme against Hepatitus B and Thypoid in the school campus.
As many as 120 students, with the consent of their parents and 25 staff members were vaccinated on the same day. Prior to the vaccination Shri. Akhil and his team had visited the school to educate the students regarding both the dreaded diseases.
