Port Blair, July 21: A work shop on ‘Mind Mapping’ was organized by the Mahatma Gandhi International School as part of Teacher Development Programme for the benefit of the staff and the students. Shri. Jeyaram Seenivasagam, Principal Trainer, Success Edge on the occasion taught the techniques of mind mapping to the staff.

Mind mapping is one of the most useful techniques which help students and teachers to learn how to prepare their lessons in a more systematic fashion. Mind mapping is possible for any topic that needs preparation.  The Principal of the school, Shri. Sivakumar was thanked for the efforts he had taken to organize the workshop in  the campus.

Meanwhile the MGIS also organised a story telling competition as part of the CCA club. As many as 20 students took part in the competition narrating the same number of stories with moral values. It was pleasure listen to the narration of the tiny tots with the little lisp in their spoken styles. The excitement came to a conclusion when the results were announced by the Principal of the school who was one among the audience for the two hour long programme.
