Port Blair, July 22: The General Secretary Jan Kranti Party, A&N Islands in a letter to the Principal Secretary, Education has drawn his attention to the fact that the tender notice published in the Daily Telegrams dated 2^nd July 2013 is objectionable as the EMD has been fixed to Rs. 10 Lakhs, which only a rich businessman can afford. The party has suggested that in order to encourage small traders and create employment opportunities, the tender should be made in small quantity according to the requirement of each DEO.
