Port Blair, March 17: The Annual General Body meeting of the JNRM Sub Committee of Non Gazetted Govt. Officers’ Association held recently at Port Blair has elected Shri U.Siva Kumar as Vice-President and Shri N.Venkat Rao as Secretary for the year 2021-22. Shri K.Chandrayya is the new Treasurer. A five member executive committee was also elected in the meeting. The meeting unanimously adopted a resolution demanding establishment of a Central university in A & N Islands. Various other demands  of employees of JNRM were also discussed in the meeting including construction of more Type III Quarters, filling-up of the large number of vacant posts, timely granting of MACP,etc. Shri. R Rajendran,T S Sreekumar,R Surendran Pillai and E A Johnson were attended the meeting from the central committee of the Association.
