Port Blair, March 8: Shri Mahashivaratri will be celebrated at Shri Sarweshwar Mahadev Mandir, Chinmaya Mission, Police Line on 11th March 2021. The auspicious day will began with Shir Ganapati Homam at 6 am followed  by Maha Mritunjaya Homam at 8 am. In the evening from 4.00 pm onwards Shri Shiv Archana will be performed in batches to avoid over-crowding in the temple. In the night from 8 pm to midnight 12 am Bhajan, Satsang and Pravachan will be held. The Mission has requested all the devotees to follow the COVID-19 guidelines.

The Hindu Rashtra Shakti of A & N Islands Unit expressed shock and grief at the demise of Shri Shambu Nath Biswas husband of Smti Minati Biswas  (Ex- Adhyaksha, Zilla Parishad, South Andaman), R/o Wandoor. He was 64. Shri Shambu Nath Biswas breathed his last today (03-03-2021) at 1145 hrs at their home (Wandoor).

The Hindu Rashtra Shakti of  A&N Islands Unit has expressed shock and grief at the demise of Shri Jagdish Singh (Retd. RCS Auditor), R/o Junglighat. He was 72 and is survived by his wife and two children. Shri Jagdish Singh breathed his last today (26-02-2021) at 2030 hrs at Mumbai.
