Kurma Rao on the occasion explained the operators as how Sharma guided him to file the affidavit and what are the points to be included in it to convince the Hon’ble Court. Rao recorded his surprise that apart from the A&N Administration and this affidavit, no other affidavit was filed by any other party and or no other political leaders even thought of submitting such affidavit for the welfare of the tour operators.

He further said that the other prominent leaders had created a chaos and used intolerable words against the Administrator and Congress Party so that they also do not come forward to help the operators.

Few tour operators of Baratang also recorded their gratitude for Sharma, Congress Party and the Administration  and accepted with guilt for being a part of the agitation.

In the above meeting this was also told that some rumours are being created that ATR has been made open only upto 2015, which is totally baseless. People may download the verdict of the Honourable Court and themselves find as to how innocent people are being misguided, said the Secretary to the PCC President, Shri Haridas Chattopadhyay in a communication to the press.

However they did not lose hope as they had believed that the PCC President would help in overcoming the difficult time.

On behalf of the tour operators, Shiv Raj Appa submitted his apologies for getting misguided by some so called prominent leaders who had their own vested interest and instead of helping them had damaged their cause for political objective. It was reassured to the President that in future if any such problems arise, the tour operators would approach only Shri Sharma and not get misguided by any political leader or anti-social elements.

“We shall ever remain grateful to you in particular and Congress party in general. We are also grateful to the Hon’ble Lt. Governor who always sympathized with our problem and came forward to help us in our hour of need”, said Shiv Raj while concluding his letter of gratitude to the Congress President.
