Port Blair, March 16: The last date for Admission and Re-Registration in Indira Gandhi National Open University's On-line mode for January 2021 has been extended upto 31st March, 2021 without any late fees. For Online admission, log on - onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in/admission and for Offline Admissions forms can be collected from Regional Centre Office at Mohanpura during working hours ensuring social distancing norms.

MV Sentinel will sail for Nancowry via Car Nicobar, Chowra, Teressa and Katchal on 13.03.2021 (Sat) at 0800 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 16.03.2021 (Tue) at 0600 Hrs from Nancowry via same route.

MV Kalighat will sail for Campbell Bay via Nancowry on 16.03.2021 (Tue) at 0900 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 18.03.2021 (Thu) at 0900 Hrs from

MV Sentinel will sail for Car Nicobar via Little Andaman on 20.03.2021 (Mon) at 0700 Hrs from Haddo Wharf and will sail for Port Blair on 21.03.2021 (Tue) at 1500 Hrs from Car Nicobar via same route.

It is brought to the notice of the general consumers and government departments that power supply will remain suspended at the following area on 13.03.2021 (Saturday) as per schedule given below in connection with urgent breakdown maintenance of transmission and distribution system.

The Managing Committee and members of the Tribal Development Council, A&N Islands have expressed their deepest condolences on the passing away of Shri Lucas Isaac age 62 who breathed his last at G.B. Pant Hospital, Port Blair at 8:30 am on 10th March 2021. He served Manula Matai Ltd, Nancowrie as General Manager and he also was one of the prominent Tribal leader.

Port Blair, March 10: The 34th Convocation of the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is tentatively held by virtual mode in the month of April, 2021. The online registration is open now.  Student who have completed their Programmes in December-2019 or JUNE-2020 Term-End-Examinations are eligible for award of original Certificate at this Convocation.  Eligible students are required to register themselves for obtaining the degree/diploma certificate and pay the requisite fee through online mode only (www.ignou.ac.in). The fee for obtaining the original degree/diploma certificate is to be paid though online mode only.  The Fee for Master Degree/Bachelor Degree/ PG Diploma/ Diploma programmes is Rs. 600/- and for PG Certificate/ Certificate programmes is Rs. 200/-. The Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate will be sent to the eligible students by Post.
