I am a Post Graduate student of Dentistry at Chennai, my admission was confirmed just before the lock down and the Directorate General of Health Services, New Delhi has asked me to join the college at Chennai vide their notice on 13/6/2020 and was asked to report to the college physically between 16th June-22nd June, 2020

failing which my seat will deemed to be cancelled, but due to lockdown at Chennai, I was unable to report to the college and we tried to convince the DGHS, New Delhi and the Dean of the Dental College Chennai by sending a written request, now the college authorities have asked to take online classes from 1st of July 2020, but due to  very very slow internet connectivity less than 1kbps speed, I am unable to attend online classes, the audio & video  get disconnected (regularly-irregular)every 30secs even though I have a  broadband connection, sometimes I feel so depressed, that I am unable to interact with my professors. I hope many students like me and other aspirants who want to continue online classes are also facing same difficulties.

Request the BSNL authorities or the Hon’ble Administrator and the political parties of A & N Islands to expedite the OFC connectivity at the earliest with a PAN India tariff. COVID cases are increasing at an alarming rate, in Chennai; today it has crossed more than one lakh.

I would like to stay safe at home and attend my online classes considering the risk at Chennai.

Thanking you in anticipation
