Port Blair, Nov. 9: Mahatma Gandhi International School Students celebrated Children’s day in a very different manner by making a record by Painting 365 T-shirts in a day. Mr. Dev Das Director Education had flagged off the event.

In his address, he appreciated MGIS for this Unique step, and motivated the students. He also Donated Computer  and a Refrigerator to the Orphanage on behalf of Students of Mahatma Gandhi International School.

Shri. Ranjith Asst. Director Sports was the Guest of Honour for the event. All the students of MGIS painted T- Shirts at Pearless Sarovar Portico, Corbyn’s Cove Beach which was later donated to orphanage kids.

The students along with their Principal Shri. Madhuj also spend some time with the invited orphanage students and inquired about their health conditions. Touched over plight of the orphanages, the students have decided to come frequently to orphanage and contribute whatever possible from their side.

Inspired by the noble cause, MGIS chairman Shri. Nalin Gulechha and Secretary Ranjan Gulechha announced donation of Rs. 5,000/-.
