Port Blair, Oct. 15: The general public are hereby informed that anyone intending to avail various services provided by the department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, which includes Training for a period of one month on Poultry/ Piggery/ Goatery and Dairy farming etc., Project report for livestock ventures, information on scientific management practices and availability of livestock in various departmental/ Private farms are advised to contact the nearest Common Service Centre (eDweep Kendras) located in their respective jurisdiction for submission of their applications.

The Senior Veterinary Officers attached to Veterinary Hospitals, Veterinary Dispensaries and Composite Live stock Farms of the concerned areas could be contacted to facilitate the procedures for submission of their application to their Common Service Centre(CSC).

The 10 existing e-Dweep Kendras are located at Dairy Farm, Junglighat, Delanipur, Haddo, Phoenix Bay, Gandhi Market, Aberdeen Bazaar, Near Jama Majid (Aberdeen Bazaar), Shadipur near Electricity site office, Nayagaon and Minnie Bay Junction.

The 23 new e-Dweep Kendras (CSCs) are proposed to be launched shortly. These centres will be located at Dollygunj, Bathu Basti, Brichgunj, Birdline, Manglutan, Wimberlygunj, Burmanallah, Tusnabad, Namunaghar, Bambooflat, Ferrargunj in South Andaman Zone and Nilambur, Kadamtala, Bakultala, Rangat, Nimbutala, Shivapuram, Mayabunder, Kalighat, Ram nagar, Sita nagar, Diglipur, Aerial Bay in North & Middle Andaman zone.

The timing of CSC will be from 08 AM to 08 PM on all working days (Monday to Saturday) and 08 AM to 1.00 PM on Sundays (except public holidays), which means the citizens need not wait for office hours and can get the services for extended hours. In case any difficulty being encountered by the citizens in this regard, they may contact the Joint Director (HQ/AH) at the Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services at Haddo on all working days.
