Port Blair, May 13: The Kala Kendra, a society under the Department of Art & Culture organized “Sur Sandhya” a Musical Programme at Rangat on 11th May 2019 as part of its regular activities for the promotion of art and culture in these Islands. Shri Awnish Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, North and Middle Andaman was the Chief Guest on the occasion, while Dr. Aom Dhole, DANICS, Assistant Commissioner Rangat was the guest of honour.
Shri Awnish Kumar, in his address, appreciated the efforts of Kala Kendra in organizing cultural programmes for entertaining people of the these Islands on a regular basis and also encouraged local artists to come forward and register themselves to showcase their hidden talents. The Programme was witnessed by a large crowd and received a word of praise by one and all.
