Port Blair, May 15: A solemn function will be organised at the ‘Memorial of Battle of Aberdeen’ Water Sports Complex on 17th May 2019 at 9 am to pay tribute to those Great Andamanese who lost their lives during the battle fought in the year 1859. The Lt. Governor, A&N Islands, Admiral DK Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM, (Retd), Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Shri Chetan B Sanghi and others will pay tribute at the Memorial on this occasion.
