Financial Inclusion Awareness Program for Digital Village Organised at Tushnabad

Port Blair, July 15: Financial inclusion awareness program for digital village was conducted in the premises of Gram Panchayat, Tushnabad by Common Service Centre, Tushnabad.

Ms. Mary Jasinta, Pradhan, GP Tushnabad presided over as Chief Guest and Shri. Vijay Rao, LDM, State Bank of India was the resource person.

Ms. Mary Jasinta, Pradhan in her address appreciated the efforts of CSC Tushnabad in organizing such an event and proposed to extend all possible support for implementation of Digital Village program. Shri. Vijay Rao, LDM briefed the participants about various schemes and digital transactions.

This program is an effort of Ministry of Electronics and information technology and a part of Digital India initiative. Common Service Centre, Tushnabad is being selected to implement the Digital India Program.

Among others, Shri. Anand Amrit Raj, Ex-Upadhyaksh, Smti. Ratan Kumari, PSM, Smti. Raj Kumari, Ward Member and large number of villagers attended the program. 

The Program concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Shri. N M Bashir, Village Level Entrepreneur, CSC Tushnabad.
