Port Blair, July 15: A case of fatal accident has been regd in PS Aberdeen FIR No. 404/19 dated 15.07.19 U/s 304(A) IPC. The accident took place near Gandhi Statue,  Aberdeen Bazar around 0620hrs in the morning when deceased was crossing the road on foot and was hit by a car. The deceased succumbed to his injuries during treatment at G. B Pant Hospital at 0830 hrs. in ICU. 

The deceased has been identified as S. Muniyandi S/o Late Sonai (70) Yrs R/o Shadipur near Amruta Hospital.  Meanwhile the details of the accused are Abdul Nasir S/o Late Abdul Wahab R/o A/Bazaar near Jama Masjid.
