ANDAMAN:- High waves in the range of 3.0 - 3.5 meters are forecasted during 17:30 hours on 22-08-2019 to 23:30 hours of 24-08-2019 along the west coast of Andaman Islands from Ten Degree Channel to Coco Channel.  Surface Current speeds vary between 65 - 106 cm/sec. Due to strong Southwest monsoon current, strong Southwesterly wind speed exceeding 45 kmph and generally rough to very rough sea likely along and off Andaman & Nicobar coasts, Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea during next 48 hours.

NICOBAR:- High waves in the range of 3.2 - 3.5 meters are forecasted during 17:30 hours on 22-08-2019 to 23:30 hours of 24-08-2019 along the west coast of Nicobar Islands from Ten Degree Channel to Great Channel. Surface Current speeds vary between 39 - 61 cm/sec. Due to strong Southwest monsoon current, strong Southwesterly wind speed exceeding 45 kmph and generally rough to very rough sea likely along and off Andaman & Nicobar coasts, fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea during next 48 hours.
