Port Blair, Sept. 15: The Hindi Fortnight was inaugurated on 14 September on the occasion of Hindi Day in the conference hall of the Anthropological Survey of India, Andaman and Nicobar Regional Center. A special lecture was also organized on the occasion of Hindi Day in which Prof. Vyas Mani Tripathi, Associate Professor, Department of Hindi, JNRM College, Porta Blair gave his on the subject of "Globalism of Hindi". I was accompanied by Dr. NilanjanKhatua, Head of Office of Indian Anthropological Surveying. The program was conducted by Ms. BanitaBehera, Hindi Officer, Rajbhasha Section, Anthropological Survey of India. Representatives of various Central and State level Government offices participated in the program.
