Deptt of Art & Culture to Organize Gandhi Katha on Oct.18

Port Blair, Oct.15: As the nation is celebrating 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Department of Art & Culture is organizing "Gandhi Katha" by Dr. Shobhana Radhakrishna on 18th October 2019 at 11.00 am at DBRAIT Auditorium, Dollygunj, Port Blair. Gandhi Katha narrates the ethical, moral life, thought and actions of Mahatma Gandhi. The Katha format is ingrained in the Indian culture and conveys the messages by way of storytelling with music and narration effectively. The Gandhi Katha has many unpublished and unknown incidents of the life of Mahatma Gandhi and helps people in getting inspired for nation building.

Dr. Shobhana Radhakrishna is the Chief Functionary of the ‘Gandhian Forum for Ethical Corporate Governance’ formed under the aegis of the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), New Delhi for promoting ethical business practices and organizational integrity in Public Sector Enterprises.
