Port Blair, Oct. 21: The TSG Open League –cum- Knock out Football Tournament was held from 5th September, 2019 at Mini Stadium, Wimberlygunj. The final match was played between United Sporting Club and Eliz Sporting Club, Wimberlygunj on 20/10/2019 at 3 PM.
In a thrilling and excising match the United Sporting Club has defeated Eliz Sporting Club by a margin of two goals and became winner of the Match.
The Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Andaman and Nicobar Islands who was the Chief Guest on the occasion distributed Trophy and prizes to the winners along with a cheque of Rs. 30,000/- while the best runner up was awarded Rs. 20,000/-, Player of the tournament was provided with Rs. 5,000/- , Best Goal keeper Rs.1000/-, Best Defender Rs. 2000/- Young and Promising player Rs.2000/-, and Fastest Goal of the Tournament Rs. 2000/- respectively.
The match was witnessed by Shri Murali Krishna, DFO, South Andaman, a large number of sports lovers, general public and government officials besides the organisors and officials of the Directorate of Sports.

Bhasker, Managing Director, TSG Hotels & Resorts which conducted the TSG tournament has expressed his sincere thanks to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, A&N Islands for having spared his valuable time to come and attend the final Match as Chief Guest and also distribute the Trophy and prizes to the winners and runners of the match.
