Port Blair, Feb 13: Last year Nicobar District Police started the initiative “Police kiPathshala” to bridge the gap between school education and competitive world. In this initiative, free coaching classes for the tribal students are being imparted for all the subjects at SP(D) Nicobar office on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Due to forthcoming exams, large number of students are attending these classes at SP office and clearing their doubts about various topics. SP Nicobar Shri. Rajeev Kumar, Principal JNV Shri. Sachin Kharat, Senior Teacher JNV Shri. Yogesh Kumar, Nitin from NIC, Inspector of Police Shri. Stalin N.S. and many other resource persons from all Govt. departments have contributed to these classes and teaching students as per their available time. Nicobar Police expresses its gratitude for their contribution towards this noble cause. These classes have gained wide popularity among students and their parents and more than 60 students are availing these free coaching classes. Career counseling with the help of professionals is also being provided at these classes from time to time. 

To make classes interactive and ease of learning, one smart class has been established in SP office where students are being shown video lectures based on their curriculum.
