Port Blair, Feb 19: The district Police North & Middle organised ten days self-defence training program for the girl students of Mahatma Gandhi Govt. College, Mayabunder under Yuva scheme from 03/02/2020 to 13/02/2020 About 200 girl students were imparted basic skills of self-defence by the trained staff of A & N Police. 

This training program culminated on 19/02/2020 with a demonstration performed by the participants. Participation certificates were distributed to the girls by Shri. Vichitra Veer, IPS, Superintendent of Police, North & Middle Andaman District. The principal of MGG College Mayabunder, Dr.Prabhuram appreciated the efforts taken by the district police of North & Middle Andaman.
