Port Blair, Feb 21: Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Member of Parliament and President, Pradesh Congress Committee along with all the senior leaders of the party have paid tribute and offered deepest condolences on the sad demise of Shri Aberdeen Blair who left for heavenly abode on 20th Feb 2020. The Member of Parliament described Shri Aberdeen Blair as a prolific and dynamic tribal leader who has tirelessly and selflessly served for decades for the development and betterment of the socioeconomic condition of Nicobari community.
Shri Blair in the capacity of Chief Captain, Chairman of Tribal Council, Chairperson of EHL, member HMAC and former member of the Pradesh Council has left his legacy which will continue to inspire us for many years to come. He further added".
In his death the Andaman & Nicobar Islands have lost a true philanthropist and statesman. May Almighty give him eternal peace and enough strength to his family bear this irreparable loss".
