Port Blair, Feb 23: Travel and health go parallel with each other. Tourists prefer to travel to maintain, manage and improve health and well being. The recent outbreak of Coronavirus in China is a worldwide threat. The only way in which it can be prevented is by taking precautions. In this regard, the Tourism Department is organizing a Flea Market with the theme ‘Health and Tourism’ on Feb. 29 & March 1, 2020 at Marina Park between 5 pm to 10 pm.

The main highlights of the event is an awareness camp by ANIIMS (Department of Preventive and Community Medicine) on both days besides Yoga demonstration by AYUSH, fusion musical Yoga, skating by SAI Yoga Charitable Trust, stress management session by SHASWAT NGO for students appearing exam, performance by DBRAIT and the regular entertainment that Flea Market is known for.

The stall will be allotted on first come first serve basis and other criteria are given in the application form available in the website of Tourism Department www.andamantourism.gov.in.
