Port Blair, Aug. 5: The Department of Fisheries in association with visiting Scientist from Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute (CMFRI), Kochi and Central Island Agricultural Research Institute (CIARI), Port Blair conducted a feasibility study on Seaweed Cultivation in the inundated areas and coastal areas of South Andaman District from 2^nd to 4^th August 2016. The Study was conducted in Wimberlygunj, Kadakachang, Ograbraj, Port Mout, Badmaspahar, in Chouldari, Sippighat, Bimblitan and Teylerbad. The Action Plan will be formulated and implemented based on the report submitted by the visiting scientists.
