Port Blair, Aug 20: All the Raj Niwas staff today gave emotional farewell to the Lt Governor, Lt Gen A K Singh (Retd) and the First Lady of the Islands, Smt Suneeti Singh. After serving the Islands for 3 years, the Lt Governor is leaving the Islands on 21.08.2016. The staff of Raj Niwas extended their best wishes to them and their family members.

In his brief farewell address, the Lt Governor stated that he is leaving the Islands with a sense of satisfaction and lauded the staff for performing their duties with dedication, zeal and commitment and extending all support and cooperation. He further called on them to continue to work with this spirit for the in-coming Lt Governor, Dr (Prof) Jagdish Mukhi.
