Port Blair, Dec. 27: In view of the recent increase in the COVID-19 cases across the country and the world and nominal rise in Influenza Like Illness (ILI) cases across these Islands, as a matter of abundant precaution, the general public have been advised to wear mask in the crowded places. All have also been advised to follow coughing/sneezing etiquettes, personal hygiene and social distancing, wherever applicable to avoid any complications.

Port Blair, Dec. 27: As part of Island Tourism Festival-2023, a 'Hasya Kavi Sammelan' will be organized at the ITF Ground by the Official Language Department, A&N Administration tomorrow (Dec.28) at 5.15 pm. In this programme, well known Hasya Poets from the mainland, Dr. Sarvesh Kumar Asthana, Dr. Praveen Shukla, Shri Dinesh Raghuvanshi, Shri Hemant Pandey and Dr. Sonrupa Vishal will present their humorous compositions. General public have been cordially invited to this program.

Port Blair, Dec. 27: As part of Islands Tourism Festival various programmes were held at different venues of A&N Islands. The programme was held at Baratang, Little Andaman, Swaraj Dweep, Ferrargunj, Wandoor and Wimberlygunj. Meanwhile, tomorrow (Dec. 28), various programmes as part of the festival will be held at Shaheed Dweep, Rangat, Mayabunder, Wimberlygunj, Ferrargunj and Wandoor.

Port Blair, Dec. 26: The ITF Ground at VIP Road is all set to come alive with pomp and show as the five days gala event, Island Tourism Festival -2023 organized by A&N Administration is set to begin tomorrow (Dec.27). Hon’ble Lt. Governor, A&N Islands & Vice Chairman, Islands Development Agency, Admiral DK Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.) as the chief guest will inaugurate the festival at the ITF Ground at 4.30 pm. The inaugural programme will also be graced by the Member of Parliament, A&N Islands, Shri Kuldeep Rai Sharma, Chief Secretary (I/C), A&N Administration, Shri Nikhil Kumar, IAS, senior officers from the Administration.
