Port Blair, Nov. 28: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) Campaign was held at Gram Panchayat Mithakhari and Namunaghar today under the jurisdiction of CD Block Ferrargunj. VBSY is the largest ever outreach initiative of the Government of India. Planked on the vision of inclusive development, it has been a constant endeavour of the Government to ensure that the benefits of its schemes reach all citizens, thus achieving 100% saturation. 

Mayabunder, Nov. 28: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Campaign is continuing in North & Middle Andaman. The especially designed IEC Van was welcomed at GP Nimbutala and Sivapuram today. A video was also screened and the Viksit Bharat Pledge was taken by the PRIs, general public, school children and officials during the yatra.

Port Blair, Nov. 27: The Member of Parliament, Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma has requested intervention from the Chief Secretary, A&N Administration for early release of scholarship amounts for all the students studying in Mainland India.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Secretary, the Member of Parliament appreciated the Andaman & Nicobar Administration for providing scholarship support to students studying outside the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. This financial assistance, especially for food costs and other associated expenses, he said, has been a lifeline for many students, particularly those pursuing education in Mainland India.
