Port Blair, Nov. 18: Firing practice will be carried out at Baffle Range on Nov. 22 and Chinthe Long Range on Nov. 29 for Small Arms Firing practice from 9.30 am to 1 pm and 2 pm to 5 pm (Day Firing) and 5.30 pm to 7.30 pm (Ni Firing). All concerned have been warned to keep themselves and their livestock away from the firing area during the above mentioned date and time.

The Member of Parliament prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul and for enough strength for the members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.

Port Blair, Nov. 17: The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi released the 15th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme amounting to Rs. 18000 crore for more than eight crore farmers across the country during the event organized on the occasion of  Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas in Khunti District of Jharkhand. The PM-KISAN Scheme is a Central Sector Scheme introduced in February 2019 to help land-holding farmers throughout the nation with their financial needs. Under this initiative, farmers’ bank account linked to their Aadhaar numbers receive direct benefit transfers of Rs. 6000/- per year, divided into three equal installments.

Mr. Vishal Jolly, National Executive Member BJP & Former State President BJP-ANI has deeply mourned the sad demise of Smt. K Shanti (Aged 64Yrs) W/o Shri K Vasudevan (Organiser PBMC) R/o Machhiline Shadipur, who left for heavenly abode on 19-11-2023 at 08.30 AM at G.B. Pant Hospital. Shri Jolly prayed to the Almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul and to give strength to her bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. Last rites will be held tomorrow from her residence.
