Port Blair, Feb 18: The general public and tourists have been informed that the Museums of National Memorial Cellular Jail will remain closed on 19th February, 2024. Meanwhile, the 1st show of Light & Sound show of 19th February, 2024 will also remain suspended for general public and tourists due to administrative reasons. The general public and tourists having the tickets for the 1st show will be accommodated in 2nd & 3rd show respectively as per revised show timings at 7 pm & 8 pm onwards.

Port Blair, Feb 18: The Office of the Returning Officer, Andaman & Nicobar Islands Parliamentary Constituency today conducted a Randomization Process to classify officials on Polling Duty as Presiding Officers, Polling Officers-1, 2 & 3, in the interest of free and fair elections as well as the formation of unbiased Polling Parties.

Port Blair, Feb 18: Due to administrative reasons, the following amendments have been made in the sailing programme of Foreshore Sector vessels by the Directorate of Shipping Services. The amended schedule is as under:
The scheduled departure time of the vessel MV Rangat to Swaraj Dweep on 20.02.2024 at 1700 hrs from Haddo Wharf has been postponed. Now, the vessel will sail for Swaraj Dweep on 20.02.2024 at 1930 hrs from Haddo Wharf.

Port Blair, Feb 18: In partial modification of the order dated 15/02/2024, all the tourists, stakeholders and general public have been informed that all water sports activities and swimming at Elephant Beach and Trekking Point towards Elephant Beach at Swaraj Dweep will remain open for tourists till 12 noon on Feb. 21, 2024.

Port Blair, Feb 18: e-EPIC is a secure portable document format (PDF) version of the EPIC which can be downloaded on mobile or in a self-printable form on the computer. A voter can thus store the card on his/her mobile, upload it as a PDF on Digi locker or print it and self-laminate it. This is in addition to PVC EPIC being issued currently.
Who is eligible for e-EPIC?
All General Voters who have valid EPIC Number. All new electors registered during Special Summary Revision 2023 & 2024 and who registered their mobile number while applying will get a SMS and may download e-EPIC.
