Port Blair, Jan 30: A Division Bench comprising of Hon'ble Shri Jayesh V. Bhairavia, Judicial Member and Hon'ble Shri Suchitto Kumar Das, Administrative Member of Central Administrative Tribunal Kolkata Bench shall hold Circuit Sitting at Port Blair w.e.f. 05.02.2024 to 16.02.2024 (both days inclusive) to dispose of cases pending in the Court of Hon'ble Central Administrative Tribunal, of Calcutta, Circuit Bench at Port Blair.

Port Blair, Jan 30: The cargo vessel MV Chuglam will sail for Car Nicobar on Feb.2, 2024 at 3 pm from Haddo/Chatham Jetty and will sail back to Port Blair immediately after discharging/loading of Cargo at Car Nicobar. Booking of cargo will commence from Jan.31,2024 onwards between 9 am 1 pm at Commercial Wing, DSS. All the consigners have been requested to adhere to the loading schedule in order to maintain the sailing as promulgated. All the consigners are further advised to book actual quantity of cargo to be transshipped, as no excess cargo will be allowed.

Hon’ble Lt Governor, A&N Islands & Vice Chairman, Islands Development Agency, Admiral DK Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.) was the chief guest. The Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Shri Keshav Chandra, IAS, CINCAN, Air Marshal Saju Balakrishnan, AVSM, VM, Director General of Polices, Shri Devesh Chandra Srivastva, IPS, Senior Officers from Defence & Civil Administration and good number of general public witnessed the performance.

Governor, A&N Islands and Vice Chairman, Islands Development Agency also witnessed the programme. The Chief Secretary, A&N Administration, Shri Keshav Chandra, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, Ms Nandini Paliwal, IAS, Secretary (Education), Ms Pallavi Sarkar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman, Ms Veditha Reddy, IAS, SP(SA), Shri Kalaivanan R, IPS, Director (Education), Shri Aditya Kumar Jha and other senior officers of the Administration were also present on the occasion.

Port Blair, Jan 29: Shri. Kuldeep Rai Sharma, the Member of Parliament, Andaman & Nicobar Islands attended the Shrimad Bhagwat Katha held at Guru Mandir, VIP road, as the Chief Guest on 28 January 2024. The event, organized by Manav Kalyan Seva Sangh, commenced on January 28th and will continue until February 3rd, featuring the renowned Shyam Bhai Ji Maharaj from Brindavan as the orator.
