Port Blair, Dec. 11: On Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 13:14 hours, Fire Station Garacharma received a rescue call from the Fire Control Room regarding a student who had fallen in the well at Saraswathi Shishu Vidya Mandir School, Pather Gudda.

Immediately, the firefighters responded and a Water Tender was deployed with rescue equipments on the spot.

On reaching the spot at approximately 13:18 hours, they demonstrated meticulous planning by placing an Aluminum Extension Ladder in the well.

New Delhi, Dec. 11:  Representatives from the United States, India, and Taiwan are meeting on December 11-12 to deepen operational expertise and shared best practices on cybersecurity issues during a joint workshop convened under the Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF).

U.S. Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti, Taiwan’s Representative to India Baushuan Ger, former National Cyber Security Coordinator of India Lt. Gen Rajesh Pant, and the United Service Institution of India co-hosted this event, which represented the first in-person GCTF program held in India, under the Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF).

Halder said that the shortage of LPG gas cylinders in the Middle & North Andaman region has reached a critical point, impacting the daily lives of citizens for the past two months. Families are facing significant hardships as they grapple with the challenge of cooking meals, posing a serious threat to their well-being and hindering economic activities in the area.

Various activities like traditional/ folk dance representing different States of India, storytelling, role play, community singing, food stalls, display of multilingual books and costumes, created awareness on multilingualism were the programmes conducted during this 75 days long celebration.
