Port Blair, Sept. 8: The Chairperson PBMC, Shri. N.K. Udhaya Kumar called upon the newly appointed Commissioner-Cum-Secretary (Finance & Planning) Shri. Vijay Kumar, IAS in his chamber on 7th September 2020 and discussed various issues pertaining to the Port Blair Municipal Council.
Meanwhile in a written communication to the Chief Secretary, A&N Islands Udhaya Kumar requested to make all arrangements of accommodations at Hostels and mess facilities for the final year students who are going to appear in their final year examination starting from 14th September 2020 till the last month of September.
In his letter the Civic Chief appraised the Chief Secretary, that students from inter islands and far flung areas will be attending the examination’s and necessary arrangements of accommodation and mess facilities should be arranged to ease out their burden. The Chairperson also expressed his gratitude to the Chief Secretary for extending the last dates of admissions in various colleges and other institutions.
