Port Blair, Oct. 4: The Bharatiya Janata Party, Andaman & Nicobar Island, State Unit organized an awareness programmes on Atmanirbhar Bharat, Vocal for Local and are also promoting Khadi, as part of week long programme from 25th September 2020 to 2nd October 2020, under the leadership of Shri. Ajoy Bairagi, State President.
On this connection the Incharge of the programme Shri. M Vinod, State Vice President, BJP & Incharge of the Programme along with Co-Incharges of the Programme, Shri Dipakar Mistry, Adhyaksh – Zilla Parishad, N & M Andaman & Smt. Sunita Sharma and other karyakartas of the Bharatiya Janata Party organized several awareness programmes throughout the Islands.
On 2nd Oct. 2020, on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, a concluding programme was organized at Hotel TSG Emerald View, Phoenix Bay under the leadership of Shri Ajoy Bairagi and Shri. M Vinod. The programme was attended by Shri Vishal Jolly, Former State President, BJP, Shri K Ramdas, State General Secretary, BJP – A & N Islands, Shri Rajesh Pal Govind, District President, Port Blair City District, BJP, Smti Saraswati Narayan, District President, South Andaman District, BJP, State Office Bearers, Morcha Heads & Morcha General Secretaries, District Incharge & Co-Incharge for the said Programme. Shri Ebrahim Jadwet, Shri Avinash Nanda & Smti Kakoli Poddar was invited as Special Guest for enlightening on the topic Aatmanirbhar Bharat, MSME & Promotion of Khadi respectively.
The attendees also included resource persons from Animal Husbandry, Agriculture, Industries, Fisheries, MSME & Lead Bank who provided their valuable inputs. As a mark of gratitude, all the resource persons were facilitated.
