Port Blair, Oct. 7: The State President, Bharatiya Janata Part, Shri Ajoy Bairagi is on an official visit to Diglipur along with Shri. Jyothirmay Bawali, State General Secretary, Shri. Shivananda Bairagi, President, Bharatiya Janata Kisan Morcha, , Shri. Chitranjan Choudhary, General Secretary, Bharatiya Janata Kisan Morcha, and other karyakartas. The team participated in and performed tractor, Cattle & Hul Puja at Subashgram Stadium, Diglipur yesterday.
Tractor, Cattle and Hul puja was performed with all traditions and the karyakartas of BJP raised the slogan of Jai Jawan Jai Kisan. The puja had been organised in protest to the members of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) who burnt tractor in Delhi. The farmers are the life and souls of our country and Bharatiya Janata Party organised the puja to show gratitude to our farmers who work day and night to feed the population of our country.
Bairagi along with the other karyakartas also reached Paschim Sagar where they interacted with the farmers and general public and asked them about the issues being faced by them. Awareness programme was also conducted regarding the recently passed Farms Bills in Tal Bagan Bazaar at Laxmi Narayan Temple. The farmers were explained about the newly passed farms bill and how it will impact their lives in a positive manner.
Ajoy Bairagi also participated in an awareness programme on farms bill, tractor and hul puja at Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee Gram Panchayat Community Hall, Pahalgaon this morning. The awareness programme in Pahalgaon saw good participation and the puja of hul and tractor was performed with all traditional fervour.
