Port Blair, Jan 8: Considering ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and consequential adverse impact on imparting training for in-service police personnel, the Police Training School, Prothrapur of Andaman & Nicobar Police has initiated short courses on virtual platform. In this process, an one day short course on “Cyber Crime” has conducted on 07/01/2021 from 1000 hrs to 1330 hrs. The objective of the course is to enhance the knowledge and skills of the police personnel related to Cyber Crime. During the session, Inspr. Mahesh Yadav, SHO PS CCS & SI Abdul Manaf of PTS Prothrapur delivered lectures on Cyber Crime & its types, legal provision related to Cyber Crime, Modus Operandi of Cyber Crime etc. by screening power point presentation.
Altogether 27 Police personnel of various unit participated in the course through virtual platform from their respective place of posting. Multiple Choice Question & Feedback of participant have also been taken through virtual mode. The course was inaugurated by Shri Michael Raj, DANIPS, Vice Principal, PTS and coordinated by Sub-Inspector Abdul Manaf of Police Training School under the guidance of Shri Michael Raj, DANIPS, Vice Principal, PTS and overall supervision of Shri. S.K. Tewari, IPS, Principal (PTS).
