Port Blair, Jan 18: The District Child Protection Unit (SA) under the District Administration organized a workshop on Personality Development at Seva Niketan, Dairyfarm.
The emphasis of the workshop was to impart ideas to the students for developing an outgoing and impressive personality that will enhance the quality and make them unique and also would help them to face the competitive world.
The Protection Officer (Institutional Care) initiated the programme with a lecture on the importance of Personality Development in student’s life. She explained how to build their capacities by nurturing their talents, enhancing new skill, working on the weakness and transforming them into strengths. Personality Development tips were also shared with students followed by a quiz competition. Altogether 41 children participated in the programme and the winners of the competition were awarded with prizes.
The District Administration South Andaman ensures to conduct such programs in future also at Child Care Institutes which would build the confidence and enable them to develop leadership qualities.
