Port Blair, Jan 24: District Child Protection Unit (S/A) organized workshop on skill development and time management at Calvary Children Home.
The main emphasis of the workshop was to explain the students about skill development so that they can enhance their positive social relationships with others and time management for better utilization of time. And also boost their mental abilities through positive auto suggestion technique.
Protection Officer (Institutional Care) Smti Ankita Saha, Counsellor Smti Sabeena and Ms Kiran Bhagwat, Social Worker, addressed the gathering by conducting activity based sessions on Auto Suggestion Technique, Time Management and enhancing Social Skills which could help the children in building positive relationships and communicating effectively with others.
Later on quiz competition were conducted. All the children participated in the programme and the winners of the competition were awarded with prizes.
The District Administration South Andaman ensures to conduct such programs in future, at Child Care Institution which would build up social skills and enables them to develop positive social altitude towards society.
