Port Blair, March 12: District Child Protection Unit (S/A) under District Administration (S/A) organized Group Fun Activity for the inmates of Darussalam Yatheem Khana on 11th March 2021.

The main emphasis of the program was to provide learning experiences through   group fun activity and to develop positive attitude towards others thereby developing emotional confidence in children.

Protection Officer (Institutional Care) started the program with Team building activity, to develop sense of mixing, compromising and sharing with others among the children. Group activities are more effective to provide a foundation for the development of the skills needed for an individual to become a healthy and all round person.

Altogether 12 children actively participated in the activity and enjoyed. At the end of the program refreshment was provided to the children.

The District Administration ensures to conduct such activities in future to enhance the social skills and learning skills amongst children in order to develop their outgoing personalities.
