Port Blair, March 12: The State Level technical Committee Meeting (SLTC) review meeting for fixation of scale of finance for the year 2021-22 was held today at 11:30 AM in the conference hall of A & N State Cooperative Bank Ltd. Port Blair  (H.O) under Chairmanship of Shri. Ramesh Chander Meena, DANICS, Director of Agriculture, Port Blair, A & N Administration.

At the outset Shri K Murugan, Member Secretary, SLTC and Managing Director, A & N StCB Ltd., welcomed Shri. Ramesh Chander Meena, DANICS, Chairman, SLTC, Shri. A Mashar, and Shri. R V Ramakrishna, General Manager, NABARD, Dr. K Abhirami, Scientist, CIARI, Shri. A Gopal Joint Director (Fisheries), Dr. Ashish Kumar, Senior Veterinary Officer, Shri. Ummer Farooq, Lead District Manager, SBI, Port Blair, Shri. Gandhi Paroi farmers representative from Ferrargunj and bank officials.

Shri. Omkar Nath, Manager (Dev.) highlighted the objective of calling this meeting for review the scale of finance of previous for the year 2020-2021 for fixation of scale of finance for existing and new scale of finance for the year 2021-2022 for implementation of KCC-Crop, KCC- Animal Husbandry and KCC-Fishermen.

Thereafter, the Chairman and other members of SLTC took up the meeting agenda wise and gave their valuable suggestions for more lending and better achievement in Agriculture Sector specially coverage of Kisan Credit Card (KCC) to all farmers of A & N Islands, after reviewed the scale of financed has been approved the scale of finance for the year 2021-2022.

All the farmers and general public are hereby informed that the scale of finance for 2021-22 will be available with the braches of A & N State Cooperative Bank Ltd., Agriculture Department and all Financing Institute of A & N Islands with effect from 01st April 2021, a communication received from the Member Secretary, State Level Technical Committee.
