Port Blair, April 19: Consequent on emerging pandemic situation, the Competent Authority has been pleased to accord approval for suspension of classes from IX to XII of all management schools (Govt./Govt. Aided /Private/Local Bodies/KV/JNV) with immediate effect for a period of four weeks i.e. upto 17th May 2021 for prevention of spread of COVID-19.
During the period of suspension of classes, academic instructions for the students shall be provided through alternate mode i.e. Cable TV network, Whatsapp and Youtube channel "AN Education Dept Andaman". Teachers are required to attend the schools regularly to develop the contents for alternate mode of education.
Intimation regarding reopening of classes will be issued after reviewing the pandemic situation in this UT.
